Response for sub-theme "family".

Family. Something that is vital to our existence. It is the cycle of life that continues forever. Our relatives are who take care for us at our most innocent stages in life. Family is imperative to human life, therefore we all must continue to abide with them.

Families are the support for all people; they take care when we are ill, families back us up when there is trouble or conflict within other family members, and they do far more to help each individual succeed in life. Most of all, families love us. For example, in the book A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Francie decided that she would prefer to go to a new school. Johnny let her attend that school, only because he loved her. If Johnny was a cruel man that despised children, he wouldn’t have even thought about accepting that change. Love is a key factor to having a healthy family.

As well as love in a family being an important aspect, encouragement to a listless person is also incredibly essential. An example in A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is when Katie was depressed and upset because she had no money, while single-handedly having to mother three children. Although Katie was in denial, Sissy and Evy were there to comfort her. Support is an aspect probably far more important than any other one to a superior family.

The Nolan family was very grateful to have a family, and they took that as an advantage to their future. Families are the support when others are in denial, and they’re also around to share their love for you. Overall, families are critical to the survival of all people on Earth, therefore we must appreciate our own.
